The 1980 Winnipeg Folk Festival featured the who's who of North American folk music.

From the mid 70's through the mid 80's Felix toured with his group "The Banjo Palace Band" from coast to coast. Working conventions and grandstand shows at summer fairs with some of the finest Canadian entertainers such as Lucille Starr (who would bring down the house with "The French Song"), fiddling wiz Al Cherny, country music legend Wilf Carter, and many others.

The Kopper King Tavern on the Alaska Highway, north of Whitehorse, YT, was a wild and crazy place during Sourdough Rendezvous 1973
